Welcome to Misae´s American Akita!
We and our dogs live in a small village in Bavaria. For more than 20 years dogs take an important role in our lives and are a part of our family. Looking for an extraordinary dog which goes with our Alaskan Malamute “Anuk”, the American Akita attracted our attention 5 years ago. We fell in love with this amazing breed and in 2006 – after a 10-month waiting period – we could finally welcome our first bitch “Maya”. At that time we discovered a passion for dog shows. Since 2007 we are very successful in Germany and abroad.
Since we were absolutely fascinated by this breed, we welcomed in 2008 “Joy” and in 2010 “Paige” into our family. Now our show team consists of three girls and we are very proud of them. Our Malamute “Anuk” is always with us. Each dog has its own character, but they harmonize in the pack very well. Thus the dogs live with us in our house without any problems.
Although we see our kennel primarily as a show kennel, we are also very interested in breeding. After concentrating on American Akitas in recent years, we could discover many different facets of this magnificent breed. We want to start breeding in 2011, since we feel ready now to face such a responsibility. We are members of the Akita Club e. V, the VDH as well as the FCI. We breed in accordance with the provisions of the VDH and our dogs are only showed on shows which abide by the regulations of the FCI.
The American Akita is a wonderful companion for anyone who wants to empathize with such an amazing and proud dog.
